Aplikasi : Bangunan, baik perumahan maupun komersial; fasilitas industri, dan sistem distribusi listrik umum yang memerlukan proteksi arus bocor ke tanah.

Perangkat ini tidak memberikan proteksi terhadap kelebihan beban maupun hubung singkat, sehingga harus digunakan bersama dengan MCB.
